Today, we stumbled upon RURU Shibuya, and honestly, it felt like discovering a secret oasis in the middle of the city’s madness.
Just a few steps off the crowded streets, we were suddenly in this calm, almost meditative space. The first thing that caught our eye was the beautiful water table running through the center—soft ripples, and gentle reflections that made everything feel slower and more peaceful.
The whole vibe at RURU is pure Zen minimalism, with warm lighting, natural textures, and a kind of quiet that’s rare to find in Tokyo. We ordered a drink (which, by the way, was amazing), and just sat there, letting the atmosphere do its thing. We think this might be our new favourite escape whenever we need a breather from the chaos outside. If you’re ever in Shibuya and craving a little peace, RURU is definitely the place to be.
