Do you enjoy spicy food? If so, check out Mara Daigaku - a Sichuan Chinese Restaurant in Ueno, known for its authentic Chinese flavor and of course, the giant Sichuan sesame ball!
Everything we tried was spicy and absolutely delicious. The taste, aroma, and spices from each dish hits you hard even at the minimum spiciness level. All of the employees were very friendly and nice and were quick to caution us about the level of spiciness.
The giant sesame ball is a unique take on a classic dish, and it was definitely the largest sesame ball we've ever seen! In summary, this restaurant is definitely a worthwhile visit if you're looking to add that extra spice to your trip!
